Things have cooled down. Thank you for your prayers! I was really encouraged to check my email and see that so many people had responded. Keep praying, tribalism is real and causing a lot of strife. I'ts strange that I'm already saying goodbyes! I'm coming home on February 6th which is getting closer and closer. Keep praying, this week there are a few rallies planned.
Here are some photos from early December in Nyahururu where I got to harvest maize and see a bit of the Rift Valley!

Those are stunning photos. There's nothing quite like seeing an elephant in the flesh, out of a zoo! What amazing creatures.
I'm glad to hear that things have cooled down. It sounds like you have had an absolutely amazing time; hopefully we can get together and you can tell me all about it in person.
Stay safe and make the best of the time you have left, I don't doubt that you will.
PS I could've swarn I saw Tony crossing Lakeway today...

Hey Maryanne! I still see kenya on the news with confusion and sad things happening in there. I prayed that God is in hand... At church the other day pastor Heidi talked about bringing the kingdom, how we, christian, can bring the kingdom closer by listening to his calling and doing his will. I trust that you time at Kenya has brought the kingdom to the children you were serving and also brought peace to you and their hearts. I'm looking forward for you to come back. My phone number changed btw. 253-228-1725 this way you can contact me and come visit us in tacoma :) love you!
I hope all is still well! I didn't realize you were coming home so soon. Come visit. Our semester starts on the 7th.
Peace.
